Bheema Tanpura is a concert-quality tanpura synthesizer application that supports two accurately tuned/synthesized tanpuras, each with six strings and various advanced controls, all conveniently accessible on a single page.

Developed by a signal processing engineer with a passion for Hindustani classical music, this app has been meticulously crafted after analyzing the instrument's resonance. For an immersive experience of high-fidelity sound, connect your device to quality speakers placed ideally 3 to 4 feet away for optimal effect.

This version introduces multiple digitized tanpura profiles for users to explore, allowing customization of tempo and pluck-style to suit individual preferences. Additionally, it now supports two full octaves, although caution is advised with higher pitches as they may sound slightly shrill and are recommended for use alongside other musical instruments.
